Bahraini urban planner, landscape architecture consultant, and long-time professional with years of experience in various architecture disciplines, landscape architecture, and urban design in Bahrain, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq. Academically he has had a lot of experience in the academic field since 2000. Currently, he is a professor of urban design in the Department of Architecture, College of Engineering, University of Bahrain, Bahrain. He was certified as a consultant landscape architect in 2000 and an urban design consultant in 2002.He was a Consultant at King Faisal University’s new campus, Dammam, SA. Moreover, He worked as a City Development Strategy Consultant for the World Bank projects with the Arab Urban Developing Institute (AUDI), League of Arab States, Arab Towns Organization, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 2005 to 2012. He did urban consultation services for the World Institute for Development Economics Research of the United Nations University (UNU-WIDER), Cap Town South Africa 20017, and Helsinki, Finland, in 2012.
