Dr. Altayeb Qasem is a faculty member in the Building Engineering Department at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, Saudi Arabia. He holds a PhD in Construction Management with a specialization in asset and infrastructure management, as well as Master’s degrees in Water & Environment and Infrastructure Management. His research focuses on performance assessment models for buildings and infrastructure, integrating BIM, digital twins, and immersive technologies such as AR and VR to enhance maintenance and energy performance. He also leads a graduate research team developing digitized asset management systems and maintenance models using BIM, AR, and VR. Dr. Qasem has published widely in international journals and contributes to advancing digital transformation in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
