Prof. Omar Khalifa Gnieber, born on July 15, 1966, in Benghazi, Libya, is a distinguished academic and professional in Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, and Leadership Development. He earned his B.Sc. in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering with high honors from the University of Garyounis (now University of Benghazi) and went on to obtain an M.Phil and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Bradford in the UK. Prof. Gnieber has held several prominent positions, including Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Garyounis, where he oversaw seven departments and implemented strategic reforms for ABET accreditation. He served as Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at the Libyan Academy, managing 26 postgraduate departments, and is the Founder and CEO of the Royal Academy for Training and Development, specializing in organizational development, Lean Six Sigma, and Agile management. Additionally, he is a jury member for the MEFMA annual Facility and Asset Management Prizes in the UAE and the World Reality Congress Annual Prizes in Dubai.
