Sultan Alsubaie is an executive leader with over 14 years of professional experience in operations and maintenance, facilities management, and strategic asset management across both the public and private sectors. He currently serves as the General Manager of Operations & Maintenance at MEWA, where he leads national-scale initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen governance and compliance, and drive innovation to achieve high standards of quality, sustainability, and whole-life asset value. His leadership spans multi-site operational environments, with a focus on modern operating model development, contractor and service performance improvement, KPI-driven management, risk-based planning, and continuous improvement.
Eng. Alsubaie holds a Master of Engineering in Business Management from the University of Bath (UK) and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sydney (Australia). He maintains several international professional certifications, including PMP, FMP, CMRP, and PMI–RMP, in addition to specialized credentials in strategy, governance, and performance management.
