Adolfo Crespo Márquez is Full Professor at the School of Engineering, University of Seville, and former Head of the Department of Industrial Management. He holds a Ph.D. with Honors in Industrial Engineering from the same university. Recognized among Stanford University’s world top-scientists since 2022, he also received the Spanish Maintenance Award from AEM in 2020. His research has been published in leading journals such as Reliability Engineering & System Safety, International Journal of Production Research, European Journal of Operations Research, Omega, and Decision Support Systems. He has authored eight books and edited five volumes with Springer, AENOR, IGI Global, and INGEMAN on maintenance, warranty, supply chain, and asset management. Prof. Crespo is Fellow and Director of ISEAM, Editor-in-Chief of Springer’s Engineering and Asset Management Review, and President of INGEMAN since 2002. He has led major research and consulting projects worldwide, implementing his Maintenance Management Framework across utilities and industries in Europe and the Americas.
