Jeddah Hosts the 22nd International Asset, Facility, and Maintenance Management Conference (OMAINTEC)

Asset, facility, and maintenance management is crucial for ensuring sustainability and efficiency in various economic sectors. To foster knowledge exchange and expertise in this field, the Arab Asset, Facility and Maintenance Management Council is organizing the 22nd International Asset, Facility, and Maintenance Management Conference (OMAINTEC FM) from January 26 to 28, 2025, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This conference is strategically partnered with the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, the Ministry of Environment Water and Agriculture, and the Ministry of Education, in collaboration with several local, regional, and international organizations, highlighting their commitment to advancing asset and facility management.

The conference aims to showcase innovative technologies, solutions, and best practices that enhance efficiency and sustainability. It will emphasize the adoption of artificial intelligence, automation, predictive analytics, big data, and the Internet of Things to improve asset performance and streamline maintenance operations. Furthermore, it seeks to build capacity and prepare future leaders while encouraging sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact and improve resource efficiency.

Participants can look forward to scientific sessions, panel discussions, and interactive workshops designed to raise awareness of the importance of asset and facility management and enhance the essential skills and competencies. Global best practices in the field will also be highlighted.

In line with its vision of innovation and sustainability, the Arab Asset, Facility and Maintenance Management Council will launch the AFM Expo alongside the conference. This leading exhibition will showcase the latest products, services, and innovative technologies serving as a platform for innovators, decision-makers, investors, consultants, contractors, and service providers.
 
    
 
The Arab Asset, Facility and Maintenance Management Council also announced the OMAINTEC Award, The region’s most significant award recognizing excellence in asset and facility management. Participation in this award reflects organizational leadership's commitment to quality and excellence, ensuring services meet beneficiaries' expectations.
Granted annually, the award aims to foster a culture of excellence within the Arab world by developing evaluation frameworks based on international best practices, assessing the performance of public and private entities, and promoting excellence across both sectors.

This award aims to honor outstanding individuals and organizations that achieve high-quality standards through the application of international standards. It serves to facilitate performance excellence, enabling organizations and individuals in the sector to assess their current performance and compare it to distinguished entities globally.
This conference is part of Saudi Arabia’s series of initiatives to enhance collaboration and knowledge exchange in various fields. It is expected to attract participants from across the Arab world and beyond, including experts and representatives from government and private institutions from over 30 countries.
